Hear-rings

watch1 Three South Korean designers have developed the vibering.

It’s stylish, sleek and has an incredibly discreet profile. (After all, there are lots of hearing people out there who like checking their watches.)

Composed of two rings that fit on the middle fingers and a watch, the rings vibrate at sound, giving the wearer not just the knowledge that there’s noise they can’t hear, but also where that sound is coming from. The rings send the sounds to the watch, which apparently has a mini-computer to process and identify the noise.

But, most importantly, it’s supposed to work like a hearing ear dog, only without the food and pooper scooper concerns.
